Create an attractive campaign ๐Ÿš€

The campaign you create must be attractive enough to encourage people to play it. It could be a simple Click&Win, a Lucky Wheel or a more engaging game like a Swiper or Outrun. The important thing is that the game is fun and engaging.

To ensure that your campaign attracts the maximum number of users and is engaging with your target audience, we advise you to :

  • Use eye-catching visuals

  • Use wording suited to your audience

  • Put forward attractive rewards to encourage people to take part (see below)

Offer rewards ๐ŸŽ

Campaigns offering one or more instant-win rewards are the ones that generate the most traffic. For example, offer discounts, exclusive advantages and vouchers to encourage players to take part and then spend.

Example of journey :

Examples of campaigns:

100% winner:

Think of the "100% winner" option, available from the "By participation" mode in the editor. It's ideal for increasing the audience for a campaign by ensuring that everyone wins!

This mode is compatible with all instant-win mechanisms, but the volume of rewards must be large enough for all participants to win.

โœ๏ธ Note: In our "By objective" templates, we have suggested winning moments, but these are completely interchangeable.

Example: The Click&Win can be replaced by a Bandit-Manchot in the selected template and vice versa, the important thing being to keep a winning moment in your route.

Set up a campaign with a purchase obligation ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Increase your in-store traffic by offering a game with a purchase obligation thanks to the Gatecode mechanism!

It allows you to restrict access to the game to those who have a code (on a till receipt, point-of-sale advertising, emailing, etc.). If the code is validated, the user enters the game directly.

This can also be achieved with the addition of the Proof of Purchase mechanism, which makes it possible to prove that an action has been carried out by the participant by importing an image (JPG/PNG, GIF, SVG) or a document (PDF). It can be used to prove that

  • That a purchase has been made by uploading a till receipt

  • That the user is the owner of an item, by uploading a photo of the item concerned

  • That the user is in a specific location, by uploading a photo of him/her in the expected situation

  • That a customer has found a clue hidden in the shop by uploading a photo of the clue.

The game becomes accessible only if the document serving as proof has been validated by a moderator.

โœ๏ธ These 2 mechanisms can be linked to any type of mechanism (instant win, scoring game, reward draw, etc.).

Use your "Call To Action" (CTA) correctly ๐Ÿ“ข

CTAs are key to increasing your conversion rate or simply generating traffic to your site. Use CTAs that are clear, attractive and well-positioned in strategic locations, indicating the options available to the participant via text incentives.

To catch users' eyes and encourage them to click on your action buttons, you can apply an animated effect. Here's an article explaining how to do this.

Here's an example of a path with CTAs generating traffic to your website:

Use the Emailing option ๐Ÿ“จ

Sending an email following participation or receipt of a reward is an excellent practice for several reasons:

  • To strengthen the relationship with your participants: A follow-up email is an excellent way of thanking participants for their time and interest in your campaign. This can help to strengthen the relationship with them and encourage them to return to your website, for example.

  • Increase the chances of conversion: By sending a post-participation email, you can remind visitors of your website and the benefits of your products or services. For winners, sending a reward confirmation email containing all the information can be crucial and make all the difference to the success of the conversion rate on your website or in-store!

Prerequisites: Subscription to the Emailing option or a Pro or Enterprise licence โœ…

Promote them ๐Ÿš€

As you can imagine, if you want your campaign to be as prolific as possible, you'll need to adapt your communication and use the right channels for your target audience. Here are a few ideas that can make all the difference:

  • Use social networks: as mentioned above, social networks can be an excellent way of promoting your campaign. Share it on your social networking pages and encourage your subscribers to share it with their friends - this can be done directly from your campaign, by sharing by email, via Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter sharing buttons or by adding a Social Gauge.

  • Take advantage of our Adictiz Ads expertise: guarantee that your marketing objectives are achieved through your campaigns, thanks to media experts specialising in gaming-related advertising strategy, and develop a qualified audience by taking advantage of all the power of classic & exclusive distribution channels.

By implementing an effective game marketing strategy, you can attract new customers, strengthen your relationship with existing customers, raise awareness of your company and increase your sales.
