Export user data

Find out where to export participants and entries, depending on your game mechanics

Updated over a year ago

Access to User Data

When a campaign is live, you can access the "Users" section, which allows you to export user data from two locations within the editor:

  • From the dashboard and campaign listing

  • Or directly within the campaign editor

Once you're in the user management section, you can export the data by clicking the "Export" button :

You have the option to choose from several exports:

Export of unique participants

An Excel file will be generated containing all aggregated user data. A user who participated multiple times in the game campaign will only appear once in the file as a single line in Excel format, based on the same email address or any other type of authentication.

Example: In this export of unique participants, the user played twice on a Shooter module.

If multiple modules are installed within the same campaign, this export generates a unique Excel column for all module participations for a given user.

Example: A user played 4 modules (1st Memory, 2nd Memory, 1st Circle Puzzle, 2nd Circle Puzzle) in a single campaign. The scores appear on the same line, and each new participation generating a score on a module is separated by a comma.

Export of participations

You will obtain an Excel file with all the participations of each user (one line per participation in a mechanism). A user who played a game twice will therefore appear twice in the file as two lines in Excel format.

Example: Export of participations where the user played the Shooter game twice.

If multiple modules are installed within the same campaign, the export displays one Excel line per "module participation" within the same campaign and for a given user.

Example: A user played 3 modules (1st Memory, 2nd Memory, Circle Puzzle) in a single campaign. We can see that the user played Memory modules 5 times each and Circle Puzzle module once. Each of their scores creates a new column in the table, and all scores for each module are aligned on the same line.

✍️ Note:

  • If no game module is configured on your campaign (e.g., a Form leading to a Basic page), the export of participations will appear empty because no game will have been played.

  • For campaigns with a large number of users, the export file will be split into multiple files, each containing a maximum of 200,000 lines to handle the volume of data.

In both types of exports, you can access the following data:

  • Registration dates/times

  • Devices used (desktop, mobile, etc.)

  • User names and surnames

  • Provided email addresses

  • Opt-in users

  • Instant Win winners and rewards

  • Statistics related to different modules (scores, game duration, number of items found, etc.)

  • User journey (viewed and non-viewed pages) - only available in the export of unique participants

  • Virality (data of "referrers" and "referees")

  • Any other information provided from the Form page

Filtered view and export of filtered data

To facilitate the reading and understanding of collected data, you have access to a filtered view through a time filter, allowing you to select only the data you want to retrieve in your export by checking them in a dropdown list.

To export filtered data:

  • Click on "Export"

  • Select your export type

  • Under "Data," select "Only the selection (period, columns, segment)"

The export will include the filtered view instead of the entire campaign, enabling you to make weekly exports, for example.

The reference rules for dates/times in the time filter are as follows:

  • Export of unique participants: the time filter is based on the date in the "first connection" column (= registration) to the campaign.

  • Export of participations: the time filter is based on the participation date in a given module, i.e., the "participation date" column of the export of participations :

Please note that this filtered view will always retain your last data selection. The data is grouped as follows:

  • Users: all data related to the user (form + general data such as ID, Device, UTMs, etc.).

  • Rewards: all data related to an Instant Win, including winning users and the number and name of rewards won.

  • Module: all data related to each module type (score, highest score, game duration, generated data, etc.).

The menu automatically lists all the available data in the campaign according to the installed modules. The data is presented to have one participation per module type. If you have multiple game modules installed in a single campaign, you will have their results in the same export, grouped by module as shown in the example below.

User Tab

In the user section within the editor, you will find the list of registered users for the game campaign. By clicking on a registered user's line, you can access the user's profile and its various tabs.

  • Identification Card: This tab displays the user's profile and the data collected through the form.

  • Participations: This tab shows any rewards won, as well as the scores achieved in the games present in the campaign and the media uploaded by the user.

  • Campaigns already played: This allows you to track whether the user has participated in other game campaigns on your Adictiz account.

  • Sponsorship: The referring user and potential referrals will appear in this section.

  • Transactions: In the case of games with a purchase requirement, this section allows you to track the transactions made by the user that enabled them to participate in the game campaign (only available if the Adictiz transaction pixel is configured on your campaign).

Connect your CRM with Adictiz Box

You have the option to directly connect your CRM with Adictiz Box. There are two solutions:

  • Connect an already natively present CRM in the "My Third-Party Applications" section.

  • If it's a specific connector, we would be happy to handle the integration. Please contact your Account Manager for assistance.

Q&A

What should I do if the link received via email for data export is marked as "expired"?

If the link is marked as "expired" when you receive it, it means that a software installed on your computer (e.g., antivirus, firewall, browser extension, email software) is protecting you by scanning all the links in your emails to validate their authenticity and ensure there are no fraudulent systems (such as phishing) or corrupted files. This scan is equivalent to clicking on the link and disables it at the same time. Please note that, for security reasons, the link is for single-use and expires after 24 hours. To avoid this issue, you need to authorize the domain *.adictiz.com so that the antivirus scans do not occur on links originating from the adictiz.com domain.

Why do I have a difference between my export of participations and my export of participants?

If no game module is configured on your campaign, the export of participations will appear empty because no game will have been played. For example, this can occur when using a Form leading to a Basic page.

How do I export winner data?

There are two ways to obtain the export of winners:

- Via the user data export.

- Via the reward export.
