Description

The Proof of Purchase module is designed to allow participants to demonstrate that they have completed an action by uploading an image (JPG/PNG, GIF, SVG) or a document (PDF). It can be used to confirm the following points:

  • Completing a purchase by uploading a photo of the receipt.

  • Ownership of an item by the user by providing an image of the item in question.

  • The presence of the user in a specific location by uploading a photo of themselves in the required situation.

  • Discovering a hidden clue in a store by a customer through the submission of a photo of the clue.

This module can be associated with various mechanics (instant wins, score-based games, drawings, etc.), but its activation depends on the validation of the submitted document as proof by a moderator. It is distinct from the Upload Media module due to its "protected page" system and the fact that it is not linked to the Media Gallery page. It proves to be particularly effective for achieving objectives such as "Drive-to-Store" or "Drive-to-Web."

Installation

To use this module, access the campaign editor and add a new page by clicking the "+" button and selecting it from the module list.

Page Design

Import your Desktop background by clicking on the "+" icon in the Background Image. You also have the option to add a solid background color that surrounds your page. You can leave the default color or choose to align your campaign with a color that reflects your brand or your game pages, for example.

Module Settings

  • Participation Limit: Define the number of participations per day, week, month, or campaign, and per user based on your expectations (single upload or multiple uploads), then create and select your "Already Played" page. If the user attempts to replay, they will be directed to this page. If the participation limit is disabled, participation is unlimited.

  • Protected Page: Define the page to which the user will arrive after validating their document upload. This page will contain native security measures preventing any user who has not uploaded from accessing it. However, you will need to verify the uploaded document by accessing the moderation screen and, if necessary, contact the participant if the document needs to be rejected.

Module Content

  • Add an upload: The module initially contains four upload buttons that need to be activated by clicking on them in the "Content" section.

    • Upload 1: corresponds to the upload button for a Barcode (JPG/PNG, GIF, PDF format - max 10 MB per upload).

    • Upload 2: corresponds to the upload button for an RIB (JPG/PNG, GIF, PDF format - max 10 MB per upload).

    • Upload 3: corresponds to the upload button for an Invoice (JPG/PNG, GIF, PDF format - max 10 MB per upload).

    • Upload 4: corresponds to a standard upload button (JPG/PNG, GIF, PDF format - max 10 MB per upload).

⚠️ File upload is limited to a maximum of 10 MB if you publish your campaign on a custom domain. If you publish on adbx.io, this limit is reduced to 2 MB.

  • Edit Error Text: Customize the text that is displayed if the user does not upload their proof of purchase correctly (file too large, wrong format).

Proof of Purchase Properties

Click on one of the buttons to access its customization tools, listed below:

  • Field Title: The terms "Proof of Purchase," "Barcode," "RIB," and "Invoice" are editable because all fields can be edited to suit your campaign's needs.

  • Button Title / Font / Text Size / Button Color: Customize the text and appearance of the button. The button can be replaced with an image (see below).

  • Replace the Button with an Image: Further customize your Proof of Purchase page by replacing the Upload button with an image. Learn more here.

  • Choose an Effect: Select the "Custom" effect to add a visual effect to the button when hovered over and clicked.

  • Accepted Upload Format: You can choose from the following formats: JPG/PNG, GIF, PDF. All of these formats can also be activated simultaneously in a single field.

  • Maximum Accepted Weight: Depending on the type of document requested and the number of expected participants for your campaign, select the maximum weight for each uploaded file (2MB, 4MB, 5MB, or 10MB).

  • Make this Field Mandatory: Activate this option for each field that you want to make mandatory for the user. If you don't make the field mandatory, the user can click the validate button and proceed to the next step without uploading a proof of purchase.

  • Validate Button: Customize the "validate" button by clicking on it. You can customize the label, color, replace it with an image, and add an effect.

Replace Upload Buttons with Images

The upload buttons are customizable. If you don't replace the upload button with an image, it will display the user's file name and extension:

If you replace the upload button with an image, the file name and extension of the uploaded file will be displayed under the button. You can customize the appearance of this text.

✍️ Note: Buttons can be different between Desktop and Mobile views. Feel free to adapt them.
