Description

Lucky Wheel is an instant-win mechanism in which participants are invited to spin a wheel and immediately find out if they have won.

Game design

Before setting up your campaign, you must create the necessary graphic elements. To start, please visit this page, where you will find all the information you need to create the graphics for your campaign: Creating your games graphics.

You can download all the elements for your module (standard size) in this pack including a graphic manual + 1 PSD file with standard dimensions:

Page setup

First, click on New Campaign and select the Lucky Wheel mechanic. You will then be taken to the campaign editor which includes the 4 stages of this mechanic: Form, Lucky Wheel, Won page, Lost Page, Already plaed page, and an End of campaign page. If you wish, you can add a home page and/or a teaser page.

Don't forget to set up your campaign settings now, including the campaign dates, terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Background image setup

Upload your desktop background images by clicking on the '+' icon under ' Background picture'.

To learn about the graphics specifications of the background image for this module, please refer to the "Game Design" section of this article.

You also have the option of adding a single background color that will surround your game pages - you can leave the basic color or choose to standardize your campaign with a color that reminds the users of your brand or game pages, for example.

Game settings

Number of participation: Set the number of participation per day, week, month, campaign, or user. Next step, create and select your 'Already Played' page. If users try to replay the game, they will be redirected to this page.

Number of boxes: Choose the number of boxes for your wheel - for instance, according to the number of rewards.

Winners uniqueness: this option allows you to choose the number of rewards that can potentially be won by the same user on your campaign, via the winning moment(s) it contains. See our dedicated article for more information.

Result pages: Set your 'Won' and 'Lost' pages, which will be immediately displayed once the wheel is stopped.

Customizing the appearance

Here you can import your wheel's visual element, set the color of the cursor, and adjust the alignment of the boxes.

The advanced settings allow you to configure your loading bar.

You can also select the result box animation, among the following options:

Editing and preview settings

By clicking on the game area in the editor, you will be able to access the game preview as well as the edition of the game dimensions (to best integrate your game in a mobile application).

Rewards setup

If you have not yet set up rewards for your campaign, follow this link: Adding rewards

Rewards should be set up in this module's 'Content' tab.

If you haven't set up any reward yet, click on 'add a reward' in the chosen box.

Once your rewards have been created and linked to the Lucky Wheel module, you can assign the reward based on the Lucky Wheel box.

'None' means that the box will be considered a losing box.

'All' means that the box offers a reward, but we don't know which one yet.

Box 1 is a losing box by default, as there must be at least one losing box for the module to work properly.

Mobile setup

Once your Desktop Campaign is set up, you need to switch to Mobile view to import the dedicated backgrounds and format your different pages for that support. To import mobile backgrounds, follow the same procedure as for desktop backgrounds.

Campaign launch and Test

Once the desktop and mobile versions have been finalized, you can publish the campaign. Don't forget to check your campaign. Use our emailing option to increase engagement on your marketing campaign.
