Description
The moderation of media uploaded by your participants is not a mandatory function on your campaigns, but is nevertheless strongly recommended to avoid any inappropriate publication on your Media Gallery page.
There are several modules that allow you to do this:
Upload Media (used for the Photo Contest and the Video Contest)
Shopping List (used for the Shopping List and Face Filter)
The moderation for the first 3 modules mentioned is only of interest if a Media Gallery is configured on the campaign to display the content. This article will help you understand how to activate this function and where to moderate the media imported by participants.
Who can moderate media?
Anyone who has access to your Adictiz Box account and is therefore listed in the "My Users" section of your account can moderate media, except for those who have a "Reader" status.
How to activate moderation?
For the Photo & Video Contest, Customizer, Shopping List and Face Filter modules: Moderation must be triggered on the Media Gallery page of your campaign, by activating the "Show only accepted media" option:
Case of the "Proof of Purchase" module:
Moderation on the "Proof of purchase" module is present by default but is not blocking: if a participant imports a document in the correct format but which is not valid, he will be able to access the "protected" page of your course. You must then contact them again to tell them to re-import a correct document.
In order to automate this process, we recommend that you generate automatic emails once the status of the media/document is defined as "accepted" or "refused" by the moderator, via the use of our emailing solution or your internet emailing solution.
How to moderate uploaded/created media?
To start, you need to go to the "Users" section of your campaign:
Then select the "Media" tab: you will access the list of media uploaded to your campaign. You just have to select one (or more) and choose if you want to accept or reject it:
If a Media Gallery page is present on your campaign, the accepted media will then be displayed there and visible to all.
Configuration with the Emailing solution
If you have our Emailing solution, you can trigger the sending of emails in connection with moderated media:
Accepted media: For example, encourage the user to share the link of your campaign and boost the visibility of their media.
Rejected media: Ask the user to review the upload conditions of the media of this campaign.
You will have to choose one of the two following triggers: "Media accepted" or "Media rejected".
Status in exports
You can then include moderation information in your media exports. Here are the different statuses you need to understand:
0 = Media not moderated
1 = Media accepted
2 = Media refused
