Updated over a week ago

Description

The Circle Puzzle mechanism is fun and suitable for all ages. Users are invited to fill out a form to access the game. They must then try to replace correctly the moving circles in order to restore the image within a time limit.

Summary

Game design

Before setting up your campaign, you will need to have created the various graphic elements required. To begin, please consult this page which will give you access to all the essential information for the graphic creation of your campaign: Creating the graphics of your games. To create the specific elements of the Circle Puzzle module, please consult this article.

Page setup

First, click on New Campaign and select the Gift Finder mechanic. You will then be taken to the campaign editor which includes the 4 stages of this mechanic: Form, Circle Puzzle, a Result page and an End of campaign page. If you wish, you can add a home page and/or a teaser page. Don't forget to set up your campaign settings now, including the campaign dates, terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Background image setup

Upload your desktop background images by clicking on the '+' icon under ' Background Image'. To find out the graphics specifications for this module's background images, please check the 'Game design' section in this article. You can also add a solid background color to surround your game pages - you can keep the default color or standardize your campaign with a color that reflects your brand or your game pages, for instance.

Game settings

  • Limited participation: Set the number of games per day, week, month, campaign, or user; then create and select your 'Already Played' page. If users try to replay the game, they will be redirected to this page. Ideally, we recommend to not limit the number of participation for this module.

  • Enable Chronometer: enable this option to increase the game difficulty. This means that players will have to make the best possible score before time runs out.

  • Result pages: Select 'Display Result Page' so that users can find out whether they have won or not. To choose the type of result, check out this page. Accordingly, adjust the number of 'Won', 'Lost' and 'Already Played' pages.

Customizing the appearance

Upload the visual of your image ("background visual") that will be reconstructed by users. You can customize the loading bar by clicking on 'Advanced Option'. You can also customize the loading bar by clicking on 'Advanced Options'.

Editing and preview settings

By clicking on the game area in the editor, you will be able to access the game preview as well as the edition of the game dimensions (to best integrate your game in a mobile application). Learn more about this feature. You will also find the Circle Puzzle edition mode that will allow you to create the circular zones:

Mobile setup

Once your Desktop Campaign is set up, you need to switch to Mobile view to import the dedicated backgrounds and format your different pages for that support. To import mobile backgrounds, follow the same procedure as for desktop backgrounds.

✍️ Note: It is not necessary to create a Mobile background for the game page "Circle Puzzle" as the game is in full screen on Mobile. It is the Desktop game background that is displayed for the Mobile version but it is resized to 60% and cropped on the sides.

Campaign launch and Test

Once the desktop and mobile versions have been finalized, you can publish the campaign. Don't forget to check your campaign. Use our emailing option to increase engagement on your marketing campaign.
