There are several types of result displays:

  • Score only

  • Score to reach

  • Winner / Loser

You will find below the description for each of them:

Score only

This option will trigger a result page displaying the player's score, with an identical message to all users. Therefore, there is no "win / lose" concept with this result mode, where the score achieved in a game by a user is simply provided. This option is perfectly suited to the distribution of final rewards draw among the top XXX scores: the user will constantly be encouraged to replay to improve their own score and expect to be part of the top XXX players at the end of the campaign.

Description

Available only for action and score games and the Quiz.

Add a basic page and rename this page "Results". It will serve as the result page. Next step, go to the game settings and select "Display result page".

Select "score only" and the basic page that you created as the result page. The user will be redirected to this page at the end of the game.

Score to reach

This option allows you to set a minimum score to be reached by the user in a Game, in order to access a "Won" page.
For example, the "won" page can:
- confirm their eligibility to enter a draw;
- allow them to access an instant win game (reserved for users who have reached this minimum score).
If the set minimum score is not reached by the user, they will then be redirected to a "Lost" page, and will have the option to replay the Game until they reach it.
In addition, this option allows you to create customized courses based on score levels, for example:
- between 0 and 199 points > access to an instant win game with small rewards
- between 200 and 399 points > access to another instant win game, with better rewards etc...

Description

Available only for action and score games and Quiz .

You need to add two basic pages and rename them "Won" and "Lost". Next step, go to the game settings and select "Display result page".

Select "score to reach" and set the minimum level to access the pages.

Example: from 0 to 500 points, the player will be redirected to the "Lost" page, and from 501 to infinity the player will be redirected to the "Won" page

Winner / Loser

This option will trigger the display of a won or lost page, subject to the success (or failure) of a game, in the manner of "sudden death".
The key to success is mainly based on the setting of a time limit through the timer, for example:
- Memory: to win, the user must complete the game before the end of the allotted time.
- Flappy Bird: to win, the user should not hit any obstacle in the allotted time. As soon as they hit an obstacle, their game is over and the display of the "lost" page is triggered.

Description

Used for Instant Wins and works for the majority of mechanics with the exception of the Creative Games, Survey Modules and Personality Test.

You need to add two basic pages that you will rename "Won" and "Lost". Next step, go to the game settings and select "Display result Page".

Select "Winner / Loser" and configure the "Won" and "Lost" page display. Depending on the Instant Win result, the user will be redirected to one or the other.

You will find information on how to configure the results pages for the Survey and Personality Test modules by going to their dedicated FAQ pages.
