Summary

Game Design

Before setting up your campaign, you must create the necessary graphic elements. Please check this article that will explain all the essential information for the graphic creation of your campaign: Creating your games graphics. You will find everything you need to know about Shuffle Board graphics' dimensions in this article. If you want to include game variables on your wallpaper, remember to leave space for them in the graphic design:

Page setup

First, click on New Campaign and select the Shuffle Board mechanic. You will then be taken to the campaign editor which includes the 4 stages of this mechanic: Form, Shuffle Board, a Result page and an End of campaign page. If you wish, you can add a home page and/or a teaser page. Don't forget to set up your campaign settings now, including the campaign dates, terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Background image setup

Upload your desktop background images by clicking on the '+' icon under 'Background Image'. To find out the graphic specifications for this module's background images, please check the 'Game Design' section in this article.

You can also add a solid background color to surround your game pages - you can leave the default color or standardize your campaign with a color that evokes (for instance) your brand or your game pages.

Game settings

You can choose whether your users will be able to play as many times as they want by enabling or disabling the 'Limited Participation' option.

  • Limited Participation : Set the number of games per day, week, month, campaign and user. Create and configure your 'Already played' page. If the user tries to play more than he is allowed, he will immediately get to this page.

  • Number of shots: Choose a number of shots allowed

  • Number of holes: Choose a number of holes, these will be required in your graphics

  • Enable chronometer: Choose to activate the chronometer to increase the difficulty for the player. This means that the player will have to make the best possible score before the time runs out.

  • Result page: Select “Display result page” so that users will know whether they have won or not. To learn more about each type of result, click here. Depending on the kind of result you choose, select the number of 'won', 'lost' and 'already played' pages.

Customizing the appearance

Upload the visuals of the game background and pucks; you can have different visuals for pucks, they are not necessarily all identical. By clicking on “Advanced Options”, you can customize the loading bar that appears before the Shuffle Board, and the text that is displayed at the end.

Editing and preview settings

By clicking on the game area in the editor, you will be able to access the game preview as well as the edition of the game dimensions (to best integrate your game in a mobile application). Learn more about this feature

Also, by enabling the "Edition of the game engine” mode, you can adjust the area of the table (which will be needed on your graphics), as well as the width of the holes.

Mobile setup

Once you have set up your Desktop campaign, you need to switch to Mobile view in order to import the dedicated backgrounds and format your different pages for this medium. To import Mobile backgrounds, follow the same procedure as for Desktop backgrounds.

💡 It is not necessary to create a Mobile background for the "Shuffle Board" game page because the game is in full screen on Mobile. It is the Desktop game background visual that is displayed for the Mobile version but it is resized to 60% and cropped on the sides.

Campaign launch and test

Once the desktop and mobile versions have been finalized, you can publish the campaign. Don't forget to check your campaign. Use our emailing option to increase engagement on your marketing campaign.
