Description

Beer Pong is a skill game in which users must throw a given object into one of the containers displayed on the screen. Many options will help you fully customize the gameplay (number of throws, number of containers, time limit, etc.) in order to maximize the time spent by your customers or prospects and their exposure to your brand universe, your services and products. The containers are also customizable and can be scripted to fit your products and seasonal campaigns - for example, by becoming holes into which users have to throw chocolate eggs.

Create your first Beer Pong in just a few steps

Game design

Before setting up your campaign, you must create the necessary graphic elements.

Please check this article that will explain all the essential information for the graphic creation of your campaign: Creating your games graphics.

You can download all the elements for your module (standard size) in this pack including a graphic manual + 1 PSD file with standard dimensions:

Now it's time to set up your campaign!

Page setup

First of all, click on ' New Campaign' and select the 'Beer Pong' mechanism. You will reach the campaign editor, where you will find the mechanism's 6 steps : Home (optional); Form; Beer Pong; and the 'Won', 'Lost' and ' Already Played' Pages.

If you want, you can also add a teaser page and/or an end of campaign page.

Don't forget to set up your campaign settings now, by entering the campaign dates and importing the Rules and Privacy Policy.

Background image setup

Upload your desktop background images by clicking on the '+' icon under ' Background Image'.

To find out the graphic specifications for this module's background images, please check the 'Game Design' section in this article

You can also add a solid background color to surround your game pages - you can leave the default color or standardize your campaign with a color that evokes (for instance) your brand or your game pages.

Game settings

Number of participation: Set the number of games per day, week, month, campaign, or user. Then, create and select your 'Already Played' page. If users try to replay the game, they will be redirected to this page.

Number of shots: Choose the number of shots users can try.

Chronometer: Enable this option to increase the game difficulty. This means that players will have to make the best possible score before time runs out.

Display Result Page : Select 'Display Result Page' so that users can find out whether they have won or not. To choose the type of result, check out this page. Accordingly, adjust the number of 'Won', 'Lost' and 'Already Played' pages.

Customizing the appearance

Here you can import your game's background and the objects to be thrown and choose the kind of particles to be displayed during a successful throw.

Advanced settings allow you to set up your loading bar and end-of-game text.

Editing and preview settings

By clicking on the game area in the editor, you will be able to access the game preview as well as the edition of the game dimensions (to best integrate your game in a mobile application).

You can also activate the game engine editor, which will allow you to set the number of cups, the points to be won per cup, and the layout of all module elements.

Mobile setup

Once your desktop campaign has been set up, you must switch to Mobile view in order to import the dedicated backgrounds and format your pages for this device.

To import the Mobile background images, follow the same procedure as for the Desktop background images.

Please note that it is not necessary to create a Mobile background for the game page "Beer Pong" as the game is in full screen on Mobile. It is the Desktop game background that is displayed for the Mobile version but it is resized to 60% and cropped on the sides.

Campaign launch and test

Once the desktop and mobile versions have been finalized, you can publish the campaign.

Don't forget to check your campaign.

'Beer Pong' campaign examples

Check out few examples of "Beer Pong" campaigns below and in our " Inspiration" area

Wild Buzz Agency & Sobieski have teamed up to create a Beer Pong in the brand's colours. The best players are then entered in a draw to win different rewards.

For its "La rentrée Amazing" campaign, MTV uses Beer Pong in its most popular form to immerse the user in the student world.

Lidl France uses the mechanics of the Beer Pong during its "Sauve qui Pâques" operation and transforms it into a seasonal event: the user must put the egg in as many burrows as possible to win.
