Introduction
48% of users play primarily for rewards! Major elements of a campaign aimed at recruitment, rewards can be allocated in two ways:
Instant Win Mechanics: If you desire instant distribution (a form will be mandatory in your campaign in this case).
Any Mechanics: If you want to award them through a random drawing.
You can create as many rewards as you like and integrate them into your various campaigns. Note that it is entirely possible to create a 100% winning game for your participants, reserve certain rewards for specific points of sale, or limit the number of winners to the "X first participants"!
In Adictiz Box, there are two ways to create rewards:
Manual Configuration (classic setup)
File Import (recommended for a high number of rewards; consult this article for more information).
Create Rewards Manually
Let's take a closer look at the different steps required to create a reward manually:
1. Click on the "Rewards 🎁" icon
2. Choose to create rewards manually
3. Create a new reward
4. Choose your reward type (physical or code)
For a physical reward
You must upload its visual and indicate its name. It is possible to add a redirection URL when clicking on the visual, but this is optional.
You will then need to determine the quantities required in the next step:
Select the desired reward by clicking on the tick ☑️
Click on the + or - button to increase or decrease the number of rewards or click on the number to enter the desired value
For code rewards
File type: CSV
Encoding: UTF-8
Weight: 10 Mb maximum per file.
It is possible to import several files in a row if the initial file is too large (see below)
You will need to enter one code per line. Here is an example of a file to download, you can modify it and import it back into the editor. It is also possible to add a redirection URL when clicking on the visual, but this is optional. The overall quantity for this reward is determined by the number of codes uploaded.
5. Select the distribution mode
By date: the rewards are distributed on a specific date over a given period (by default, these are the dates on which your campaign is broadcast).
By participation: the rewards are distributed every X participations on a specific page of Instant Win - Learn more about this distribution method.
By draw: the rewards are distributed on a selected date among the participants who meet the eligibility conditions - Learn more about this distribution method.
Choose "By date" and indicate the period of availability and the pages of the Instant Win games that will be used to distribute them to participants.
6. Set up your options
Define the expiration mode
Define the expiration mode
If you want to restrict the availability of your rewards for a duration, choose the "availability duration" option in the corresponding field and enter the desired duration. This means that each reward will be available for a certain period, and the reward will no longer be available after that. It will be marked as "Expired" and cannot be played. If you want your rewards to expire after a certain date, choose the "Expiration Date" option. Then select the date from which you want your rewards to expire.
Bind to shops
Bind to shops
You can ensure that a different reward is won depending on the shop indicated in the campaign entry form. This can be useful if your various points of sale offer prizes specific to their stores, for example.
Check that the points of sale are created in your account.
Install the "Point of Sale" field on your Form.
Select the desired reward(s) (or create a new one).
Associate this reward with the desired points of sale and then click Save.
Publish the campaign for this modification to take effect.
Define an exclusion period
Define an exclusion period
If you do not want your rewards to be distributed at night or on weekends, here are the actions to take:
Select the desired reward (or create a new one).
In the settings, click on "Define an exclusion period."
You can choose not to distribute rewards at night (from 8 pm to 8 am) or on weekends (Saturday / Sunday), or both at the same time.
The "expiration mode" and "exclusion period" options can be combined.
Define a distribution priority
Define a distribution priority
Distribution priority is a feature that allows you to define the order in which rewards are distributed. It offers three priority levels to organize the distribution of rewards according to your needs, allowing you to prioritize certain rewards over others when multiple rewards are available to participants. For more information on the priority system, read this article.
Distribute daily
Distribute daily
With this option, rewards are automatically distributed based on the number of calendar days in your campaign. Examples:
30 rewards over 10 calendar days = 3 rewards per day.
5 rewards over 10 calendar days = 1 reward for the first 5 days, then no rewards for the last 5 days.
15 rewards over 10 calendar days = 2 rewards for the first 5 days, then 1 per day for the remaining 5 days.
Mark as test
Mark as test
You can mark certain rewards as reserved for your tests, meaning that only email addresses in the "My Users" section of your account can win them.
Select the desired reward (or create a new one).
In the settings, click on "Mark as Test."
⚠️ You must have an "Email" field on your Form for this option to work. Once this option is enabled, it is no longer possible to award rewards marked as tests to your participants. You must create new rewards.
7. Publish your campaign
If the campaign is not published, your rewards will not be finalized and will remain in a "Unpublished" status, meaning they will not be available.
✍️ Note: Before publishing your campaign, we recommend exporting your rewards (via the "Rewards" tab in Management) to ensure the correct volume and availability dates. Learn all about testing a campaign.
Create rewards in a multilingual campaign
When you generate rewards for a multilingual campaign, they are automatically added to all the added languages. However, reward-related information is not added automatically. You must customize reward-related information in each language of your campaign (name, URL, and image).
