How to test your rewards?

Guide to efficiently test Adictiz Box rewards, emphasizing authentication and availability

Updated over a year ago

Introduction

To ensure the success of your campaign and the satisfaction of your participants, it is imperative to test your rewards properly. In this article, we will explain the essential points to understand for conducting effective tests of your rewards.

Difference between Test and Standard rewards

There are two types of rewards: test rewards and standard rewards.

  • Test rewards are exclusively reserved for users of your Adictiz Box account, and to win them, it is essential to use the login email associated with your account. This means that only members of your team or individuals with access to your account, using the Adictiz Box login email, can claim these rewards.

  • Standard rewards are accessible to all participants in your campaign.

💡 Rewards marked as test are differentiated by the yellow banner stating "Test."

Mandatory authentication

To win a reward in an instant win, ensure that your participation form includes an email field or that a JWT is configured. This step is essential to guarantee the unique identification of the winner and the instant distribution of the reward. Without either of these elements, winning rewards will be impossible.

Availability of rewards

To win a reward, it must be available when you play. If the reward is out of stock or unavailable, you will not be able to claim it. Make sure your rewards are properly configured and ready to be distributed.

To check the availability of rewards, go to the reward management and verify the availability date as well as the status of your rewards.

Test your rewards

Once all these conditions are met, publish your campaign and test your rewards by filling out the form and participating in the instant win. Note that your participation may be limited based on the participation settings you have defined for the instant win. Similarly, you may not win rewards if you have already won them before; this depends on your configuration regarding winner uniqueness.

To avoid this, do not limit participation during your testing phases and do not impose uniqueness on your instant win page. This maximizes your chances of winning rewards. Don't forget to reset the correct settings once your tests are completed.
