The draw

Award rewards through a random draw based on your conditions

Updated over a year ago

Description

The draw is a great way to increase the value of your audience's participation, and even to encourage them to replay the campaign to increase their chances. You can also create draw eligibility criteria to target only part of your audience.

There is a simple method via our rewards editor to trigger a draw automatically on your campaign.

Create an automatic draw

Click on the "gift" icon in the upper right corner and add a reward.

Select the 3rd distribution mode: "By draw" and then choose the date and time to proceed with the draw:

Draw

Create your rewards by following the required steps, and indicate how many will be distributed in the draw:

Select your rewards

You will now be taken to the configuration settings page:

  1. "Random draw from all participants"

  • If you leave this setting on, the winners will be selected at random from all the registrants in your campaign. There will be as many winners as there are rewards.

  • If you choose to deactivate this parameter, you will be able to create rules for the selection of winners.

Example below with the city selected on the form as a criteria:

Set up your options

You can condition the attribution of an endowment with criteria linked to the form: Page view, Civility, Name, First name, Email, Address, Postal code, City, Country, Phone, Mobile, Loyalty, Mobile Optin, Customer Optin, Partner Optin, State, Nickname, Pinterest, Point of sale, Regulation, Street, Street number, Additional address, Anniversary, No newsletter

You can condition the award of a reward with criteria related to the game:

  • Page view (true or false)

  • Score (equal to, greater than, less than, less than or equal to, greater than or equal to, different from)

  • Best score (Among the top)

  • Date of participation (select a date from the calendar)

  • Number of participation (equal to, greater than, less than, less than or equal to, greater than or equal to, different from)

  • Reward (true or false)

  • Winner (true or false)

Conditions can be combined within the same criterion. You can rename a criterion by clicking on it.

2. "Multiply the chances of winning the sponsorship"

By activating this option, you multiply the chances of your participants winning the draw. Indeed, the participants who have sponsored other participants will have more chances than the others to be drawn.

3. "Validate winners before awarding"

As for a Photo Contest or Video Contest, you can check the potential winners before confirming the awarding of the reward (the players you reject will again be potentially eligible for another draw).

Go to the rewards management via "Users > "Rewards", select the "pending validation" rewards and confirm or refuse the award, as shown below:

Validate

If you reject the winner(s), a new draw will be made automatically to designate the new winner(s) among the participants meeting the pre-defined criteria.

4. "Enable uniqueness of winners before awarding"

This setting prevents the same person from being drawn several times for the same reward, for example if you do one draw per day for the same reward.

5. "Mark as test"

The rewards marked as "test" indicate that only the email addresses of the users of the account will be winners in the draw.

Click on "Generate rewards" to continue and publish the campaign. Your reward draw is set up!
