Import your shops
Updated over a year ago

Description

If you want your users to be able to select their usual or favourite shop, you need to set up the "shop" field on the form in order to display a drop-down menu on which all imported shops will be listed. Shops can be used on other modules and/or widgets such as :

  • The Rank module allows you to classify by shop

  • The Media Gallery module allows you to display photos/videos uploaded by shop

Import your shops

Click on your account name > Account > My shops 🏠

The "Shop" field is added from the "Content" tab of the Form page:

There are 2 ways to import your shops:

1. Add your shops manually

This is ideal if you only have a few shops. You will be asked to enter the information for each of them (e.g. website, address, visual etc.) directly on the configuration page.

2. Importing your shops via a CSV file

If you have a large number of shops to add, it is preferable to automate their addition by creating a file summarising all the necessary information. To do this, click on "Download configuration file". A CSV file will be downloaded, including all the columns you need to fill in. However, some formatting may be required to enter your data optimally if the separator columns do not appear in your file.

To help you, you can also download the template file directly here.

To import your list after editing the CSV file, click on "Add a shop" and click anywhere on the frame in the window that appears or drag and drop your file into that frame.

If you are working in Excel :

  • Download the configuration file and open Excel

  • In the "Data" tab, select the "Text file" option, then the "model.csv" file you have downloaded and click on "Read data".

  • Choose the option "Delimited" and "UTF-8" as the origin of the file, then click on "Next".

  • Enter "Commas" as delimiters and check the box "interpret consecutive identical separators as unique", then click "Next".

  • On the next 2 screens, click on "End" and then "OK".

Your file is now correctly arranged.

If you are working on Google Sheets :

  • Download the configuration file and open it in Google Sheets

  • Select the first box (A1) with the following text line: id; "name"; "address"; "zip-code"; "city"; "url-website"; "url-facebook-page"; "url-twitter-page"; "url-instagram-page"; "logo"; "visual-1

  • Click on "Data" and choose "Split text into columns

  • Set the separator to "Semi-colon".

The columns are now visible.
