Description

The Adictiz Text Widget streamlines text customization in your campaigns. It allows you to quickly adjust font, size, and other parameters to create unique styles. With the ability to integrate game variables, it offers advanced personalization, dynamically displaying specific information.

Text Styles

There are three basic styles that you can modify at any time. The changes you make will be applied only to this campaign. You can alter the font, size, alignment, or any other necessary parameter. Once this step is complete, simply drag and drop your text onto the page.

Game Variables

The text widget enables the use of game variables, allowing for the dynamic display of participant names, scores, or the prize won.

Add the "%" sign in a text field to display a menu of available variables in your campaign.

Examples of Variable Use :

  • Displaying the participant's score in real-time

Show the real-time score in your game by adding the %current_score% variable to a text area on the game screen via the text editor. Personalize the text to your preferences, for example: "Score: %current_score%" points.

  • Displaying the participant's score on the result page

To show the score to the user after a game, go to the result page configuration. Use the text editor to insert the variable corresponding to the game module's score, such as %tinyWings_score% for the Tiny Wings game mechanic. Customize the text in the text area, like "Congratulations, your score is %tinyWings_score% points.

💡 Refer to this article to learn more about all existing variables per module.

Adapt text style for each view (Desktop and Mobile)

You can choose to customize text between different views directly from the text editing on the platform. It's straightforward:

1. Add your text area to the desired page.

2. Click on the text area to customize.

3. Disable the "Uniform Style Across All Views" toggle.

By default, text styles are the same between Desktop and Mobile views. By deactivating this option, the style can be specific to each view. This option applies only to the style; the text content remains the same on all views. Enabling uniformity will apply the style to other platforms and languages.

Create or edit hyperlinks

Creating hyperlinks directs users to specific content. Follow these steps:

1. Select the text area or text block you want to display as a hyperlink.

2. In the text customization sidebar, click "Add a link."

3. In the dialog box, type or paste your link into the text field.

4. Optionally, enable opening the link in a new tab.
