Broadcast your campaign on a kiosk

Description

Your campaigns are by default broadcasted on mobile and desktop platforms. However, there is the possibility to design a dedicated view to optimize the broadcasting of your campaign on interactive kiosks. The kiosk format for an in-store campaign offers an immersive and engaging experience.

For example, a gamified campaign on kiosks allows customers to participate in interactive games and receive rewards. Additionally, kiosks enable instant data collection on customer preferences.

Kiosk dimensions

We have two different kiosk templates, one in 27 inches and the other in 13 inches. The wallpaper dimensions to produce are:

  • For the 27 inches: 1080 × 1920px

  • For the 13 inches: 1920x1080px

💡 Choose your mechanism carefully according to the chosen format. Learn more about suitable mechanisms based on the format.

If you intend to broadcast on a personal kiosk, make sure you know the native resolution of the screen, as this will allow you to create backgrounds with the best possible quality.

⚠️ Warning : In the case of broadcasting a campaign on a personal kiosk, we do not assume responsibility in terms of user experience. Remember to contact us in advance so we can assist you and at least carry out testing.

Create a new view

To add a kiosk view your campaign:

  • Click on the "view" icon (web or mobile)

  • Click on "Edit"

  • Click the + button to add the view to the list

  • In the "Device" column, select the kiosk format

  • Enter the name of your new view

  • Enter the format (px) of your new view. For example: 1920px

Additional options are available for broadcasting on interactive kiosks.

  • Add a Logout Button on All Pages: Allows you to add a logout button on each page of the kiosk view. This button resets the participant's session. You can configure the default position of the button on your pages.

  • Enable Automatic Logout: This option allows you to automatically log out users after a defined period of inactivity. The period is customizable and ranges from 5 seconds to 20 minutes.

⚠️ It is necessary to remove the Web view (desktop 1200px) for your Kiosk view to be displayed.

Offer short experiences

Forms with few fields

Simplify forms for a better user experience on kiosks, as the touchscreens of these devices are generally less responsive than those of phones or keyboards.

✍️ If you intend to organize an animation with a game mechanism without requesting participant information via the form, make sure to deactivate the authentication requirement. However, keep in mind that mandatory authentication and entering email addresses in the form are essential if you plan to distribute rewards.

Prioritize quick-to-play Mechanisms

  • Short mechanics (1-question quiz, 12-card memory, etc.)

  • Instant Wins

  • Scan & Play

  • Gate Code

Here are examples of effective paths:

Plan for a specific kiosk experience

A dedicated campaign

Even though it's a global device, plan a dedicated campaign for the kiosk without any other possible view. Learn more. The screens will thus be at the right dimensions to avoid scrolling.

Consideration of the Type of Rewards to Win

Your rewards can be perfectly aligned with the kiosk experience. Prioritize rewards that can directly generate in-store purchases.

User Logoff

Activate automatic logoff to automatically reset the session between each participation. Learn more. Place a logoff button on the last page of your journey. This can be named "Logoff" or "Validate my participation," for example. Learn more

Activate the Virtual Keyboard

The virtual keyboard is an essential element for your kiosk campaign. It allows users to interact with the system by entering data, answering questionnaires, and participating in an engaging manner. To activate it, follow these steps:

  • Click on the Settings button of your campaign

  • Go to the Advanced Settings tab

  • Access the Sessions tab

  • Activate the virtual keyboard

Dismiss the Notion of Virality

Do not display social media sharing buttons (access security to accounts).
