Tutorial - Redirector
Updated over a year ago

Description

The Redirector mechanism allows for offering a different user journey based on the information provided in the user's form or actions taken in a game module. For instance, suggesting a different game based on the user's age. This module is invisible to your users and is solely used for redirection purposes.

Add a Redirector Page

  • Click "Add" on your board and select the "Redirector" module.

  • Click on the Redirector page and select "Add a redirection."

You can choose your type of condition from a list: Form, Media Gallery, Signed Request or JWT, Gate Code, Scan & Play, Question, Endowments and Campaigns (UTMs).

Form

If you choose "Form" from the list of conditions, a new menu will appear:

For example, if you select the "Title" field here, you need to include this field in your form so that your users can complete it. Depending on the selected field, you can choose from several sub-conditions such as contains, does not contain, equal to, not equal to, etc.

Once the condition is established, choose the redirection page if this condition is met. If the condition is not met, you must also select the redirection page.

⚠️ If you configure a Redirector module from the form, you must redirect it to this module.

You can have multiple sub-conditions within a condition, but these are linked conditions. This means that both conditions must be met for the redirection to occur. If you do not want the two conditions to be linked, you should configure Condition 1 and Condition 2 separately.

Example 1

I want all women to be redirected to game A and men to game B.

Example 2

I want all women over 18 to be redirected to game A, and all others to game B (in this case, specify the year).

Example 3

I want emails containing @adictiz.com or @gmail.com to be redirected to game A, and all others to game B.

Beyond the form, you can also choose to link the Redirector to a module.

Gate code 🔐

Users can access one page or another of your operation based on the code entered in the module. You can add the following conditions: less than, less than or equal to, greater than, greater than or equal to, equal to, not equal to.

Scan&Play 🤳

  • A new option is now available within the Redirector module. Select "Scan&play" from the list.

  • Then, you can redirect users to specific pages or other paths based on what they have in their sequences:

For example, I redirect customers with a loyalty card starting with the numbers "123" to this path and others to the second one.

Media Gallery 📸

Redirect the user to a campaign page if they have voted for a media (or not):

Signed Request (JWT)

The Redirector module can also be configured to redirect the user based on the information retrieved through a signed request.

Personality Test (Question - Quiz)

Redirect users to a campaign page based on the profile assigned in the Personality Test.

Rewards 🎁

Users can access an operation page based on the reward assigned in the Instant Win module of the campaign. There are, for example, two typical cases:

1. Redirecting the user from the Game page based on the reward won:

Example: You want to redirect the user to different result pages based on the reward won. To do this:

  • Add the "Redirector" module to the campaign.

  • Create a condition based on the rewards that redirects the participant to page 1 or 2, depending on the reward won.

Modify the Instant-Win page by associating it with the Redirector page.

Manually add a security rule to all winning result pages so that they are only visible if the participant has indeed won. By default, when you select the winning page from the instant-win, this automatically adds this security rule to the associated page. However, since the Redirector module is the new result page in this configuration, this rule is no longer applied to the result pages but only to the Redirector module.

2. Redirect the user from the Result page

Example: You want to redirect the user from the result page to take them to another part of the campaign dedicated to them. For example, you can redirect them to a page dedicated to the reward they just won.

Configuration:

  • Add the "Redirector" module to the campaign.

  • Create an action button on the "Won" result page that sends them to the Redirector module with this specific condition.

If multiple rewards are set up in the campaign, you will need to create a separate redirection for each reward. Example :

Campagne (UTMs)

Direct your users according to their traffic sources.

Ex: I want to redirect all users coming from my Newsletter to this page.

You can also add additional conditions to refine the results. All UTMs are verifiable (Source, Medium, Campaign, Content):

This enables you to offer a specific and particular path to all existing leads or customers coming from your communications and then to offer different content to participants not coming from your relays.

In a different vein, filtering by UTMs allows you to exclude participants from sources that you consider to be of low quality.

Ex: I want to exclude all people from Reflexe media, Dealabs etc...

This "Error" page could present things other than the game itself or simulate a participation quota being reached in order to avoid frustration and user feedback. The aim is to get as many qualified leads as possible thanks to this practice.
