Description

Slot Machine is an instant-win game inspired by the famous casino slot machines: users are invited to play a virtual slot machine whose reels display several visual elements before stopping on a given symbol. If each reel displays the same visual element - i.e., if three identical elements are aligned - the user wins a reward. Closely associated with the idea of profit, Slot Machine is one of the most effective instant-win games if you want to promote your products and boost your lead generation performance.

Game design

Before setting up your campaign, you must create the necessary graphic elements. To start, please visit this page, where you will find all the information you need to create the graphics for your campaign. You can download all the elements for your module (standard size) with our PSD pack and our manual in this article.

Page setup

First of all, click on New Campaign and select the Slot Machine mechanism. You will reach the campaign editor, where you will find the mechanism's 6 pages: Form; Slot Machine, Won page, Lost page; Already Played page and the end of campaign page. Don't forget to set up your campaign settings now, by entering the campaign dates and importing the Rules and Privacy Policy.

Background image setup

Upload your desktop background images by clicking on the '+' icon under ' Background Image'. To find out the graphics specifications for this module's background images, please check the 'Game design' section in this article. You can also add a solid background color to surround your game pages - you can keep the default color or standardize your campaign with a color that reflects your brand or your game pages, for instance.

Game settings

  • Number of participation: Set the number of games per day, week, month, campaign, or user; then create and select your 'Already Played' page. If users try to replay the game, they will be redirected to this page. Ideally, we recommend one game per day in order to encourage users to return to your campaign on a regular basis.

  • Winners uniqueness: this option allows you to choose the number of rewards that can potentially be won by the same user on your campaign, via the winning moment(s) it contains. See our dedicated article for more information.

  • Result Pages: Set your 'Won' and 'Lost' pages; one or the other will be displayed as soon as the image is clicked, depending on whether a reward is being offered or not.

  • Configuration types: This module offers three possible configurations:

    • A lever that works as a Start button, which will spin all reels at the same time

    • A Start button below the reels, which will spin all reels at the same time

    • A customized mechanic where you can choose to set up one of the two options above or a Start button below each reel, which will be used to spin them one by one. You can add up to 6 reels in this configuration.

Note that the launch buttons will disappear once they have been clicked.

  • Customizing visual elements: These are the symbols users will see after launching the game. This can be, for instance, the visual of a specific product you want to promote, or even the rewards to be won. Once these visual elements have been uploaded, you can associate each one of them with a specific reward: if a given visual appears on all reels, this will unlock the corresponding reward. Available options for this configuration are:

    • None : This indicates that even if these visual elements are aligned, users will not win a reward. We recommend representing these visual elements as 'losing' elements so as to avoid any misunderstandings (in this case, even if three identical visual elements are aligned, they will still be 'losing' elements). It is essential to always have a "None/Lost" visual on your game.

    • All : Any reward allocated for the campaign can be given away if the corresponding visual element is aligned across all Slot Machine reels.

    • Specific reward selection : The reward you select will only be given away if the dedicated visual element is aligned across all Slot Machine reels.

Customizing the appearance

  • Visual elements size: You can resize your symbols so that they fit better into your creation.

  • Start button visual: You can import a Start button visual in order to bolster the customization of your module. To find out how to import a "Start" button in SVG format, read this article.

  • You can also customize the loading bar by clicking on 'Advanced Options'

Rewards Setup

The Slot Machine module requires a standard rewards setup, as described in the 'Slot Machine contents' section. If you haven't set up your campaign rewards yet, check this link.

Editing and preview settings

By clicking on the game area in the editor, you will be able to access the game preview as well as the edition of the game dimensions (to best integrate your game in a mobile application). Learn more about this feature

Mobile version setup

Once your desktop campaign has been set up, you must switch to Mobile view in order to import the dedicated background images and format your pages for this device. To import Mobile background images, follow the same procedure as for Desktop backgrounds.

Campaign launch and test

Once the desktop and mobile versions have been finalized, you can publish the campaign. Don't forget to check your campaign.
