Description

Sliding Puzzle offers a playful game experience for everyone. Customize the game and invite your users to reassemble a picture within a certain time limit. Once the image has been reassembled, you can reward your users by drawing lots among all participants. This mechanism is perfect for recruiting and retaining your fans.

Summary

Game Design

Before setting up your campaign, you must create the necessary graphic elements.

Please check this article that will explain all the essential information for the graphic creation of your campaign: Creating your games graphics.

You will find everything you need to know about Sliding Puzzle graphics' dimensions in this article.

Page setup

First of all, click on ' New Campaign' and select the 'Sliding Puzzle' mechanism.

You will reach the campaign editor, where you will find the mechanism's 4 steps : Home (optional); Form; Sliding Puzzle; and the Result and Already Played pages.

If you want, you can also add a teaser page and/or an end of campaign page.

Don't forget to set up your campaign settings now, by entering the campaign dates and importing the Rules and Privacy Policy.

Background image setup

Upload your desktop background images by clicking on the '+' icon under ' Background Image'.

To find out the graphic specifications for this module's background images, please check the 'Game Design' section in this article.

You can also add a solid background color to surround your game pages - you can leave the default color or standardize your campaign with a color that evokes (for instance) your brand or your game pages.

Game settings

You can choose whether your users will be able to play as many times as they want by enabling or disabling the 'Limited Participation' option.

If you choose 'Limited Participation' > Set the number of games per day, week, month, campaign and user > Create and configure your 'Already played' page.

If the user tries to play more than he is allowed, he will immediately get to this page.

The puzzle can consist of 4, 9 or 16 pieces. The larger the number of pieces, the greater the difficulty.

If you choose to enable the shuffling animation, users will see the pieces shuffling before they can start playing.

Activate the chronometer to set a time limit for reassembling the picture. We advise you to set a relatively short time limit so as to make the game more challenging.

You can also limit the number of moves, which will add another level of difficulty. If you set 10 moves, users can only move the puzzle pieces 10 times.

Select “Display result page” so that users will know whether they have won or not. To learn more about each type of result, click here. Depending on the kind of result you choose, select the number of 'won', 'lost' and 'already played' pages.

Customizing the appearance

Upload the picture to be reassembled.

You can choose the background color that will appear behind the image.

You can customize the loading bar by clicking on "Advanced Option."

Editing and preview settings

By clicking on the game area in the editor, you will be able to access the game preview as well as the edition of the game dimensions (to best integrate your game in a mobile application).

Mobile setup

Once your desktop campaign has been set up, you must switch to Mobile view in order to import the dedicated backgrounds and format your pages for this device.

To import the Mobile background images, follow the same procedure as for the Desktop background images.

Campaign launch and test

Once the desktop and mobile versions have been finalized, you can publish the campaign.

Don't forget to check your campaign.
