Description

The "Already played" page is used to limit the number of entries per user. To create this page, add a basic page that you name "Already played".

Configuration

If you opt for an instant win game mechanic, the participation of users is limited by default. You can define a limited number of participations per day, per week, per month or per campaign, e.g. if you choose 1 limited participation per campaign, this means that the user can only play once during the whole game. If the user tries to play a second time, they will not be able to access the game and will be redirected to the "Already played" page.

If you opt for a score-based game mechanic, you have the option of activating or not the limited participation within the configuration of your game module:

  • If participation is not limited, the user can play as many times as he/she wants

  • If the participation is limited, you can define a number of limited participations per day, per week, per month or per campaign

When you have defined the number of participations within your game module, you must select the "Already played" page previously created so that it is active:

Q&A

How to preview the "Already played" page?

To preview this page, set the participation limit to 1 participation per campaign. Launch your game and try to play it again, the page will appear.

Why do I end up on the page I already played? How do I reset my entry?

  • You can reset your participation by deleting your cookies and using a different email and/or by deleting your participation in the user management.

  • You can increase the participation limit per campaign in each test so you don't have to delete your cookies each time.

💡 Entries are counted with the participant's email.

Can we add variables?

The Déjà Joué page can perfectly well include variables such as the user's name or first name. To find out more about variables, read this article.
