To fully understand how the Adictiz Box solution works, it is essential to know the terms used to describe the different modules and principles of campaign creation, as well as those you will find in the statistics tracking.

This glossary will help you acquire the essential notions, or simply refresh your memory! We will update this page every time a new term is introduced in our database.

The editor glossary

User-accessible menu including different games currently live for the same account

CRM

"Customer Relationship Management" - Customer relationship management software - can be used to track the data collected on a campaign for exemple

Main menu from which you can create a new campaign or manage your account

Medias

Any content or creation used as part of a game campaign. It can be a photo, a video or a graphic creation for example.

Data used to briefly describe your game campaign when sharing the URL link on any social network (Facebook, Linkedin, ...)

Module

Game mechanics or specific page mechanics in Adictiz Box

Optin

Principle of user's consent to use their personal data

Method allowing the user to connect to a campaign via secure authentication

Template campaigns with a user journey and design that you can adapt and publish in just a few clicks.

URL tracking system to identify the source of traffic on a campaign

URL calling system via different events within the campaigns or the editor. Also called "Callback URL"

The statistics glossary ("Recruit" & "Engage" sections) / Insights

Clicks

Number of clicks made by users on links shared via social networks (e.g. Facebook share button), via email sharing (e.g. "Share by email" button) or on automatic emails (only in the Emailing section of the statistics)

Clicks / Share

Average number of clicks on shared links via social networks, email sharing or automatic emails.

Remaining codes

Number of unused codes on a campaign, usually via the Gate Code module.

Used codes

Number of codes used on a campaign, usually via the Gate Code module.

Used codes per participant

Average number of codes used on a campaign per participant, usually via the Gate Code module.

Rewards distributed

Number of rewards that have been awarded to participants in a campaign (these participants will therefore be considered "winners").

Rewards not distributed

Number of rewards remaining on a campaign, which have therefore not been allocated to participants.

Godsons by godfather

Average number of registrants from links shared via social networks and per participant who made these links available. This is used in particular via the mechanics of the Social Gauge.

Registered user

Visitor who has authenticated himself on a campaign with at least his email address via the Form module. Please note that a registered visitor does not necessarily participate in the campaign (in which case we can name him as a "Participant"). Note: a new registered user is a visitor who has authenticated for the first time on a campaign with at least his email address via the Form module, and whose email address was not known in the database.

"Viral" registered user

Visitor coming from a share made on social networks or a share by email and who has authenticated himself on a campaign with at least his email address via the Form module.

Lead

Registered user qualified via the Form with at least last name, first name and e-mail address.

Published medias

Total number of media (e.g. photos or videos) published by participants on User Generated Content (UGC) modules such as Media Upload, Shopping List, Customizer,...

Published medias by users

Average number of media published per participant in a campaign.

Opt-Ins Newsletter

A registered user who has agreed to receive the email newsletter from the brand that launched the campaign. This action is done from the dedicated field of the Form.

Opt-Ins Partners

A registered user who has agreed to receive the email newsletter from the brand partner who launched the campaign. This action is done from the dedicated field of the Form.

Pages viewed

Total number of pages that were viewed on the campaign by visitors and registered users.

Pages viewed by session

Total number of pages that were viewed on the campaign by session of visitors and registered users.

Pages viewed by user

Total number of pages that were viewed on the campaign by participants.

Shares

Total number of shares made on social networks and via the email share button.

Participant / Voter

Registered user having participated in a game module, upload or vote on the campaign.

Participation

Action of playing a game module, uploading or voting on a campaign.

Participations by Participants

Average number of parties per participant on a campaign.

Session

Any connection of a user to the campaign: a new session is considered when a new session cookie is installed for this user.

Sessions by user

Number of sessions per user for a given campaign.

Authenticated user

Visitor authenticated by one of the following means :
- Form (via his email address)
- Social logins (Facebook ID, Twitter, Instagram, Google Connect)
- JWT/SSO (via partnerUserID)

Visitor

A person who has seen at least one page of the campaign from the same browser or device used on his or her first visit. Note: a new visitor is a person who has seen at least one page of the campaign for the first time and therefore does not have a "visitor cookie".

Voter

Participant having voted at least once on a Vote, Media Gallery, Battle or Swiper module installed on the campaign.

Votes

Total number of participant votes on proposed content on a Vote, Media Gallery, Battle or Swiper module installed on the campaign.

Votes by participants

Average number of votes per participant on a Vote, Media Gallery, Battle or Swiper module installed on the campaign.

Views

Number of views accumulated on a page of the campaign. The same page can be viewed several times by the same person (visitor, registered or participant).
