You have a video that you want to broadcast on your campaign but it is too long?

You can take only a part of it and transform it into a .GIF format directly from Photoshop.

How to proceed?

  1. Open the video file in Photoshop

  2. Export for the web (File > Export > Save for the web)

  3. The export popup will open and select the GIF format

  4. Click on "Save".

You will have a file in GIF format that you can simply import via the "Media" widget:

No need to use the Slideshow widget, nor to insert a video hosted on Youtube, Dailymotion or Vimeo.

The rendering could be like this:

Optimize GIF weight

If your GIF is still too heavy and takes a long time to load on your campaign page, there are still solutions:

  • Reduce the length of the video

  • Reduce the number of colors

  • Increase the "Loss" value

  • Reduce the size of the image

Other solution

If you don't want to or can't use Photoshop to convert your video, you still have the solution of a conversion site.

We have for example this site to propose to you: https://image.online-convert.com/fr/convertir/mp4-en-gif
