Enable automatic disconnection after a period of inactivity

Description

You can configure a minimum period of inactivity before the user is automatically logged out. This option is particularly useful for self-service campaigns on tablets or kiosks. It allows the game session to be automatically reset for the next user.

Operation

You can choose the minimum duration of inactivity before the automatic disconnection of the user. This duration can be : 2, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes.

To activate this option, please follow these steps:

  • Click on the button ⚙️ Settings located at the level of your campaign name

  • Click on the Advanced Settings tab 🛠

  • Click on the Sessions tab

  • Activate the Enable automatic logout toggle

  • Select the desired amount of inactivity before logging out

Once the time is reached, the user is logged out and returned to the first page of the campaign. The user has to fill in the form again to participate.

Frequently asked questions

A user has been automatically logged out, has their participation been recorded?

The participation of a user who was automatically disconnected is recorded. You can check this by exporting your campaign data. If the user did not make it to the winning moment then they will have to enter again. You can check how far the user has gone on your campaign by looking at the 🎲 Funnel in the user manager.

Can a user be logged out automatically during the game?

A user is not considered inactive during the game so he/she can't be logged out automatically.

Is it possible to set a logout button?
